It appears that this panel is only held on by a thin strip of adhesive i expected more from a ge appliance.
Oven door panel fell off.
Fully open the oven door.
Bring the oven door all the way down letting it hang open at its lowest point.
This is the outside stainless steel glass panel.
30 and the front panel fell off.
If this occurs you need to re glue your oven glass using special high temperature silicon glue which can withstand the oven temperatures and remain flexible to absorb the expansion and contraction of the metal door frame.
On our ge profile range radiant self cleaning the glass portion on the oven door fell off but did not break.

On older ovens the high temperature silicone adhesive can perish over time causing the glass to separate from the door.
The front panel of our ge oven door fell off yesterday fortunately it fell as my husband was opening the door and landed against his leg rather than shattering onto the floor.
No matter what brand of oven you have opening the door exposes the metal hinges connecting the door to the rest of the oven.

Raise the door to the broil stop position which is about 1 4 open.
The glass on the front of my door fell off it.
It was to remove the door and i applied the glue and clamped it tight for 24 hours.
Use a slot screwdriver to pry down the locking tabs to the unlocked position on both sides of the door.
