It has been helping our community for 30 years through residential prevention and outreach programs that add positive influences to the lives of our young people. We offer support effective services and a safe place for youth and their families so they have the connection and supports they need to succeed. Established in 1967 by a group of visionary counsellors and psychiatrists to serve the needs of vulnerable young people across birmingham we now provi. Open doors youth reengagement wac 392 700 is a reengagement system that provides education and services to older youth ages 16 21 who have dropped out of school or are not expected to graduate from high school by the age of 21 open doors reengages disconnected youth through programs that encourage community partnerships create multiple pathways for students to realize success and provide. Since 1978 open door provided much needed valued services for the people in thurrock. The open door is a regional non profit organization that offers support services and hope to youth in need between the ages of 11 and 24.

Our mission was to build a clinic that served the therapy needs of our community with high quality openness and respect. When families children or youth need help to address mental health worries or concerns an open doors counsellor can help. We started with the idea that individuals who are suffering should find no wrong door on their search for help. If after those initial six sessions you wish to continue with counselling you will be able to self refer for our fee paying counselling service.

The counselling sessions won t cost you anything. Open door was originally set up to provide help and support services for young people families and vulnerable adults in thurrock.
